ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
ADHD or AD/HD (Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) is a neurobehavioral developmental disorder, it is defined as "persistent pattern of hyperactivity or inattention impulsivity that is much frequently displayed and is more sever than typically observed in the individuals at comparable level of its development". ADHD is most commonly diagnosed disorder in children, it hardly affect about Three to Five percent of children globally with the symptoms starting before 7 years of age. Generally, it is chronic disorder with 30 to 50 percent in those individuals diagnosed during their childhood and continuing to have to have its symptoms in adulthood.
 

When a child is matured, adults and adolescents with "ADHD" are likely to develop and coping same mechanism to compensate for the impairment.

In early 2000s, ADHD diagnoses have increased dramatically in United States and prompting from many fields to question scientific validity of relatively recent childhood has also discovered. It treatment and diagnosis have been considered a controversial work since 1970s.

 

Controversies have widely involved in teachers, clinicians, parents, policymakers and media with the opinion regarding to ADHD that ranges from no believing it exists to believe that there are physiological and genetic bases for condition and include disagreement about usage of medications in its treatment.

Specific cause of ADHD is yet unknown, but there are number of factors that may involve and contribute to include ADHD genetics, such as physical and social environment and diet.

 

Factors of environment include tobacco smoke and alcohol exposure during the pregnancy and the environmental exposure for leading in early life. Relation of smoking could be due to its nicotine causing hypoxia to fetus in utero. Diet is suspected and playing important role for some children in multiple behavioral as well as in cognitive symptoms of ADHD. There are some concerns that have focused over the blood sugar regulations, food activities and intolerance and allergies of food as well as mineral, vitamin and fatty acid deficiencies.
