Heart Disease

Heart is center of cardiovascular system, that's why heart disease is called cardiovascular disease, heart disease mainly affect the older age people means there are problems with heart and blood vessels. This disease includes variety of problems such as high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, chest pain, and hardening of arteries, heart strokes and heart attacks. Heart pumps blood to the cells of body through blood vessels of, blood carries oxygen that is the need of cells in body. Cardiovascular disease is group of problems occur when heat and the blood vessels are not working properly

 

Some problems go along with cardiovascular are:

Arteriosclerosis , it is also called hardening of arteries, where arteriosclerosis means that arteries become thickened and no longer flexible. People with Arteriosclerosis have buildup of fat and cholesterol that makes arteries narrower so the less blood can be flowed through. Angina , people having angina feel pain in chest, it means that patient's heart is not getting enough blood.

 

Heart attack , it occur when blood clot or some other blockage cuts the flow of blood to part of heat, while heart stroke occur when part of brain does not get enough blood because of clot of burst blood vessel.

Things that can be risk increasing factor for cardiovascular disease are; being older, having a family heart problem (inherited), but many people have also control over the risk increasing factors, as smoking, overweight, high blood pressure, and nor properly exercising that can increase risk getting the cardiovascular disease.

 

Many people do not realize about this disease until they have heart attack, chest pain or stroke. Such type of problems need an immediate attention and the patient should go to the hospitals emergency department. If it is not the emergency, doctor suspects that person could have cardiovascular disease; a doctor can do some tests for finding out more about how blood vessels and heart are working.
